Factual content is in the spotlight at Sunny Side of the Doc, from documentaries to interactive and more! With 2000 attendees from 50 countries, the 30th year of this major international non-fiction market takes place from June 24 to 27, 2019, in La Rochelle, France. Canada will be there with awesome stories to tell; ready to network and help our homegrown industry create international business, sales, coproduction, and partnership opportunities of all shapes and sizes!

Check us out at our Canada Pavilion (where 50 participants from 37 companies hailing from across the country have already registered!) To make it all happen, Telefilm Canada has partnered with Canada Media Fund, Creative BC, OMDC, On Screen Manitoba, the Association des producteurs francophones du Canada and SODEC.

In addition to activities such as conferences and pitch sessions, don’t miss our Matchmaking Session on Tuesday, June 25 (organized by Sunny Side of the Doc with the support of Telefilm Canada and the Canada Media Fund). These quick meetings are set up for project-seeking international and Canadian producers to get those new business opportunities off the ground. And Canada will have a special Happy Hour networking reception that same evening from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

So come get sunny with us this June! Please stay tuned for more information and details on all our events and activities.
