Because Canadian talent has no limit.

JUNE 14-19

The Canada Pavilion is back online for the 45th Annecy International Animation Film Festival and Mifa. The online market will feature animated content, press conferences with major channels, video pitch sessions (featuring 3 Canadian projects!), networking opportunities, and much more.

A number of Canadian films have been chosen for the Official Selection of films in competition, including 5 in the Short Films – Competition Official, 1 short in the Young Audiences category, 2 feature films in the Feature Films – Contrechamp category, one in the Feature Films – Official category, and another in VR Works. See the projects in the Official Selection here.

Take a deep dive into Canadian animated content with two prestigious programming events. The National Film Board of Canada will unveil exclusive content at their panel on the intersection of story, art, technology, and the importance of staying true to your voice. Directors from DARLING, a Canadian-Belgian coproduction, will take part in the panel ‘The Influence of Japanese Animation on International Animated Creation.’
