From March 25 to 27, 2025, Series Mania Forum offers three days of pitches, panels, and networking, bringing together producers, distributors, directors, and writers in a dynamic space for collaboration.

Canada France Series Lab

Tuesday March 25th from 4 to 5 pm (room 3.2)

Launched in 2022, the Canada-France Series Lab is a joint venture between Series Mania Forum, Telefilm Canada, and the CNC, in collaboration with many partners from Canada and France.

The goal? To encourage the coproduction of fiction series between Canadian and French producers and ensure their competitive edge on the international sales market. 

Pairs of Canadian and French producers have spent nearly a year in workshops and mentoring sessions, honing their series for international markets. Now, at Series Mania Forum, five teams are ready to pitch, connect with potential partners and buyers, and bring their projects to life!

FOREVER YOUNG

Sara, a French spirited young geneticist, fights to find remedy for a rare disease, using the case of the young 6 years old Titouan. As a race against time unfolds, a prominent Canadian scientist attempts to seize the fruits of her research, threatening to jeopardize everything. 

MORNING, PARIS!

Morning, Paris! is a half hour romantic comedy series about an ambitious fashion design assistant, who is slighted by her boss, accepting an unlikely proposal from a security guard, who has a crush on her, to break into Paris Fashion Week by hook or by crook.

ONCE UPON A LIE

In the 1920s and 1930s, Nancy Cunard, the child of the titled scion of the Cunard Shipping Line and heiress to her mother’s fortune, breaks ranks with the aristocracy and embarks on her roller coaster life as a poet, publisher, journalist, race activist, and social justice warrior.
