‘CANADA NOW’ Discoverability Initiative Brings Canadian Stories to U.S Audiences

What started as an international screening series has turned into a curated, customizable and digital experience! Promoting the discoverability of Canadian content to audiences across the United States, the CANADA NOW website features almost 5,000 Canadian films and series available on over 150 video-on-demand platforms.

The CANADA NOW website, built in collaboration with Telescope, is a searchable portal to thousands of Canadian films and series accessible to U.S based consumers. The initiative is powered by Telefilm Canada, in partnership with the Consulate General of Canada in New York and the National Film Board in Canada. Gone are the days of going through each streaming platform to find your favourite arthouse Canadian films; CANADA NOW will point you in the right direction!

Unsure of which movie to start with? The site features carefully curated movie suggestions each month, spotlighting new arrivals, Canadian classics, Indigenous films, National Film Board gems, and much more.
