29 • 08

If you’re a producer with a script that’s ripe and ready for coproduction, or an international broadcaster, producer, distributor, funding agency, or sales agent seeking projects, look no further than FIN Partners! Going strong for 22 years and counting, this coproduction market takes place during the FIN Atlantic International Film Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Taking place from September 12 to 14, 2019, FIN Partners’ focus is all about export and coproduction for film, television, and digital content.

Meet. Greet. Network.

As a founding partner, Telefilm Canada will be at the FIN Partners market in full force again this year, ready to support the industry and facilitate coproduction for potential international partners, talent and their projects. In addition to panels and guest speaker, producers are also welcome to join Telefilm representatives to pick their brains and ask questions and advice about coproducing with Canada during the buzz sessions or by booking a one-to-one meeting!

And you won’t want to miss a special keynote with the London-based producer Finola Dwyer from Wildgaze Films (who worked on the Oscar-nominated U.K.-Ireland-Canada coproduction Brooklyn).

Canada loves coproduction

We work on more than 50 coproduction projects each year, for a total of $500 million annual production volume and have more than 55 official coproduction treaties with countries around the world. Want more info? Here are eight awesome reasons to coproduce with Canada.
