Cemalim Films

Cemalim Films is a Canadian independent production company founded by Timur Musabay, focused on documentary storytelling rooted in music, culture and under-documented histories. Working across Türkiye, Europe and North America, the company combines archival research with a strong cinematic approach. Its current project, Gurbet, traces the origins and global rediscovery of 1970s Turkish psychedelic rock, positioning itself as the first definitive international documentary on the movement.
