Sémaphore Films
Sémaphore Films is a film production company founded by two Montreal filmmakers: Jean-Sébastien Hamel and Alexandra Myotte. Their wacky yet emotional animated short films have been screened at major international festivals, winning several awards in the process. Their most recent short, A Crab in the Pool, has won the Audience Award at SXSW and was shortlisted for the 2025’s Academy Awards.
