This Statement explains the purposes for collecting and using that information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Display of your profile on the Platform<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Personal information is collected in order to display your profile, your accomplishments, projects and partnerships on the Platform. Such information may include your name, position, e-mail address, city of residence, phone number and your image. The name, filmography, and other personal information of members of the creative personnel involved with the projects you submit may also be included, as appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>The collection and use of such personal information are in accordance with the <a href=\"http:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/p-21\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Privacy Act<\/em><\/a> and are in line with Telefilm Canada\u2019s mission as specified in section 10 of the <a href=\"http:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/C-16\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Telefilm Canada Act<\/em><\/a>. Such information will be published on the Platform and may be used for promotional purposes as well as statistical, evaluation and reporting purposes. The information is included in the personal information banks <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infosource.gc.ca\/emp\/emp03-eng.asp#psu914\" target=\"_blank\">Public Communications<\/a> (PSU 914) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infosource.gc.ca\/emp\/emp03-eng.asp#psu938\" target=\"_blank\">Outreach Activities<\/a> (PSU 938).<\/p>\n<p>When communicating via e-mail, personal information will transit via Microsoft\u2019s Office 365 platform, which handles and stores information on behalf of Telefilm Canada.
